Princess Aurora, also known as Aurora and later as Queen Aurora, is the deuteragonist of the 2014 live action Disney film Maleficent and its 2019 sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. She is the daughter of the late King Stefan and Queen Leila, the granddaughter of King Henry, the goddaughter/adoptive daughter of Maleficent, and the wife of Prince Phillip.
She was portrayed by Elle Fanning, who also voiced Winnie Portley-Rind in The Boxtrolls.

- Despite her serious moments, she doesn't darken the story or mood.
Maleficent[]
- Even when she was young, she befriended both Maleficent and Diaval and never shows fear of the villainess. After she grew up into her teenagehood, she remained visit the Moors in order to spend more time with Maleficent. This even led her playing huge part in Maleficent's redemption as her motherly care for Aurora proved enough to break her curse.
- Despite initially being afraid of him when they first met, she later befriends with Prince Phillip and helps him get to her father's castle. She instantly fell in love with him later on.
- Despite became angered and heartbroken at Maleficent after discovering the truth about her curse, she later forgives and reconciled with her after she's awakened from her curse.
- She helped her godmother, Maleficent, in her fight against her evil father, King Stefan. She even freeing her wings which allowed Maleficent to defeat her father easily.
- She helped finally establish peace between the human and fairy kingdoms at the end by becoming the Queen of the Moors and uniting them.

- She helped Maleficent defeat Queen Ingrith, but also pleaded with her not to kill her.
Trivia[]
- Only this version of Aurora is considered Pure Good, unlike her Aurora original counterpart that is considered Heroic Benchmark and cannot be approved as Pure Good, due to her contributing very little to the plot of the original film and failing the admirable standards, as demonstrated when she was put into a magic coma and does not wake up until the end.
