Princess Calla is the main human heroine and one of the two main human characters of the 1985-91 television series Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears. Despite being attractive for her age, Calla is a very stubborn girl, who dislikes being the "pretty princess", she instead likes traveling outside of the castle and going on adventures with her friends.
Like her friend Cavin, she goes to great measures to defend Castle Dunwyn from falling into the hands of her father's archenemy Duke Igthorn, often times with the help of the Gummi Bears.
She was voiced by Noelle North.
What makes her Pure Good?[]
- She deeply cares about the safety of her family and friends' lives, most notably those of her father King Gregor and Cavin, whom she has a crush on.
- She goes to great lengths to defend Castle Dunwyn from being taken over by Duke Igthorn, successfully defeating him on numerous occasions.
- When her father was kidnapped by Duke Igthorn, she and Gruffi Gummi infiltrated Castle Drekmore and risked their lives to rescued him.
- When all of Dunwyn's citizens fell asleep under a sleeping potion Duke Igthorn used on the kingdom, rendering them unable to defend themselves, she, Cavin, and the Gummis successfully defended Dunwyn from his forces in time for the potion to wear off.
- She stood up to Duke Igthorn after the tyrant insult her about not being afraid of her, she countered the insult by telling him that in King Gregor's absence, it is her duty to defend Castle Dunwyn.
- She proved to her father that she is more than capable of defending herself without the protection of a squire or knight.
- After being freed after Duke Igthorn overthrew her father and imprisoned the both, she helped Cavin and the Gummis oust Duke Igthorn from the throne and restore her father as the rightful king of Dunwyn.
