Princess Catania, also known as simply Catania, is the titular deuteragonist in the 2013 animated Barbie film Barbie: Mariposa & the Fairy Princess. She is the princess of Shimmervale and the daughter of King Regellius. She was afraid to flying on her own but she has a pet pegasus, Sophie, to carrying on her.
She was voiced by Marÿke Hendrikse who voiced Bubbles in Powerpuff Girls Z.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- She is very kind, loyal, caring, and friendly to Mariposa and her friends.
- Despite watching Mariposa bump into her father and they fall each other during their journey, she wants to makes them cheer up.
- On the GlowWater Falls, she showing Mariposa to the rainbow rocks and also told her that she is missed the place.
- She telling Mariposa for what happening 8 years ago when she was 8 years old girl. After the flashbacks, she gives her the crystal necklace as a special present.
- At the royal crystal ball, she danced with Mariposa as for that they having fun.
- As her father let Mariposa banished from Shimmervale for stealing her own necklace, she told him that her necklace is not her be stolen, and just she said that she gives it to Mariposa.
- She doesn't get angry and rude towards Gwyllion.
- She need to recovered Shimmervale with the help of Mariposa and stop Gwyllion's terror.
- She forgives Gwyllion and gives her the necklace, which makes her to becomes a benevolent old woman.
- She stops her father from punishing Gwyllion and killing her.
