Rains Fall is a major character in the 2018 action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption II. He is the chief of Wapiti Indians who resided in Ambarino.
He is voiced by the late Graham Greene.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Despite being violent in his youth and participating in wars against the US Army, Rains Fall became disillusioned after losing most of his family.
- Despite having killed to protect his tribe, he showed remorse for it.
- Protected his tribe for a long time, despite their members wanting revenge.
- He tried to convince the mayor of Saint Denis to allow his tribe to stay in Grizzlies East, as he knew that if they were moved from there, it would lead to a war.
- Spared the life of two wolves, which were possibly going to attack.
- He had Arthur steal documents from Leviticus Cornwall's factory so the attempt to take over the oil reservation in Grizzlies East would be stopped.
- Despite Colonel Henry Favours attacking the tribe several times by violating the peace treaties, Rains Fall did his best to maintain peace.
- After the Army stole sacred items and burned down a hut, he told Arthur to steal the items back, but not kill them. If Arthur kills the soldiers, Rains Fall will say that he shouldn’t have sent Arthur to retrieve the items. Further showing his remorse for those who have died.
- He would never seek revenge against those who prosecuted him, instead, trying to find peace between the Wapiti Natives and the United States Army.
- When Arthur was sick with tuberculosis, Rains Fall created a talisman to help him heal from it.
- Tried to prevent Dutch from manipulating his people.
- When Eagle Flies was influenced by Dutch, he tried to make him see reason about Dutch's manipulation and tried to stop him from going off.
- Sympathized with Arthur when he expressed sorrow about his son's passing and regretted not being there to protect him.
- After Favours and the US Army's attack, Rains Fall relocated his tribe to Canada to avoid further persecution at their hands.
Trivia[]
- Rains Fall and Pete Kowalski are the only Rockstar Games characters to be Pure Good, considering nearly every other character has corrupting factors.
