Constantinovitch Kovar, also known as Red Star, is one of the many heroes of the show Teen Titans. Red Star features prominently in the episode, "Snowblind".

He was voiced by Jason Marsden who also voiced Thackery Binx from Hocus Pocus, Kovu from The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and Haku in Spirited Away.

What Makes Him Pure Good?

• He is shown to be friendly, heroic, selfless, and a bit cowardly but very brave easily making up for his cowardice.
• He saves Starfire from freezing to death in a snowstorm.
• He took her to his place and revealed himself to him and said she is not a prisoner and only wanted to keep her safe and said she was free to go anytime.
• He offers Starfire dinner, even though they weren't close friends at the time.
• He advises the Titans to stay inside as he seals down the complex.
• Knowing his powers are dangerous, he isolates himself and releases Starfire to protect her.
• After being encouraged by Starfire to embrace his power and become what he was meant to be, he finally decides to stop the Radiation monster.
• He directs the Titans to the snow mobiles he built to drive to the Radiation monster.
• He destroys the Radiation monster by pumping it with an overdose of radioactive energy, eventually saving the Russian Forces' lives.
• In "Titans Together", he helps the other allies and the Titans fight the Brotherhood of Evil by fighting off Mammoth and Steamroller.
• Despite the series' high admirable standards, Red Star still stands out due to his less resources.

Trivia

• He's the only Teen Titans hero to be Pure Good.
