Robin Hood is the titular deuteragonist of the DVD Special Edition’s movie; Tom and Jerry: Robin Hood and His Merry Mouse.
He is voiced by Jamie Bamber.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Unlike the original Robin Hood, this one has no corrupting or anti-heroic qualities at all.
- He continually steals from Prince John all the unjust taxes he raises to give to the poor, not out of greed.
- Although he technically commits a crime by stealing, this is justified given how abusive and unjust are the taxes that Prince John raises from the people, besides, he donates it all to the poor instead of keeping the money all for himself.
- Although he doesn't leave Jerry in action with his other men, it's only because he doesn't think he's ready yet.
- He warns Jerry to send the love letter to Lady Marian for her sake, rather than hers, so as not to reveal the secret that she is her spy.
- To replace the jewel given to him as a good luck charm, he sends Jerry to give him a ring.
- He tries to cheer up his men once they're in prison, even if it doesn't do much, and even when he admits it's his fault they're there, no one is mad at him. Even when Jerry can't free them, he doesn't mind.
- He quickly takes Tom along with them for help when he and Jerry leap into action.
- When she goes with everyone to rescue King Richard, and ends up with him trapped, she manages to accept killing him.
