One day I'll be a real knight, then watch out!
~ Robin Underwood.

Robin Underwood is a secondary protagonist of the LEGO Nexo Knights TV series. He is a Knights' Academy student who, while considered too young to actually fight monsters, actively helps the Nexo Knights to protect the kingdom of Knighton from Jestro, Monstrox and their hordes of monsters.

He was voiced by Erin Mathews.

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]

  • Overall, he created, on his own or with help from Ava and Squirebots, numerous vehicles and gadgets, including the Fortrex, Triangulator, Ultra Armor and Rumble Rocket, without which it would very likely be impossible for the knights to defeat Monstrox.
  • Although at times he uses Squirebots to perform dangerous tasks, such as serving as live ammunition or a replacement for the transmitter, it's usually done as a last resort, and he's shown to genuinely care about the robots' well-being at other times.
  • When Lava Monsters disguised themselves as Nexo Knights and committed crimes to frame the heroes, Robin created the Black Knight armor and used it to successfully fend off their attacks multiple times.
  • He and King Halbert protected Knightonia during the monsters' assault on the city.
  • He let the knights use his Mini-trex to download a Nexo Power to defeat the monsters attacking Knight-a-con with.
  • After winning the cosplay competition, he gave the prize, which was a special edition issue of Ned Knightly, to Macy, knowing how much it meant to her.
  • Although he encouraged Lance and Aaron to take up a dangerous pepper-eating contest, he later showed concern about their well-being and offered them to quit while they could.
  • During the climatic battle against the monsters, Robin delivered the Techcalibur with Merlok 2.0 inside to Clay, allowing him to destroy the Book of Monsters with it.
  • He freed Robot Hoodlum from the brainwashing inflicted on him by Monstrox and offered to fix the Squirebots he was taking care of so that Hoodlum would stop robbing people.
  • He tried to help Merlok to reach his memory banks before Monstrox could destroy them, although they ended up failing and Merlok himself almost died.
  • He, Principal Brickland and the other Knights' Academy students repelled the Stone Monsters' attack on Fortrex.
  • While he disobeyed Jack Shields and followed Clay on his undercover mission, which resulted in Robin getting captured and Clay having to blow his cover to save him, he likely didn't expect Monstrox to use him to test the knight's loyalty. Additionally, watching Clay's training helped him realize that the knight needed his teammates to support him on the mission and thus called the other Nexo Knights for help, and it's implied that he did so before either he or Clay got captured and that Jack Shields was aware of it.
    • He, however, stole a blaster pen from the Royal Spy Academy early on, but since he needed a weapon to defend himself with, it may've not been out of selfish intent.
  • He deprived himself of sleep for at least five days straight to finish the construction of Rumble Rocket and Merlok's mech body in time for the final battle.
  • During the final fight against Monstrox, he took control of the Rumble Rocket to help the knights get on top of the necromancer's head and defeat him once and for all.
  • While Clay and Merlok have arguably done more admirable actions, Robin still stands out enough due to his lesser resources.

Trivia[]

  • Alongside Lloyd Garmadon, Master Wu, Zane, P.I.X.A.L., the First Spinjitzu Master, Emmet Brickowski, Robin, Batgirl, Merlok 2.0 and Hudson Harper, he is one of the eleven LEGO Pure Goods.
    • He, Fletcher Bowman and Merlok 2.0 are also the only three Nexo Knights Pure Goods.
  • At times, Robin had demonstrated what could be perceived as moments of arrogance, such as trying to prove his mechanical skills to others by making a squirebot dance without asking his permission (which could also be count as mistreating him) and boasting during a battle he was losing. These moments, however, took place rather early in the series, and Robin acts a lot more humble in later episodes, only taking pride in his actions when it's appropriate and never rubbing it in others' faces. If it was confirmed that Robin was still arrogant and the squirebot he operated on suffered from it, he would stop being Pure Good.
