| “ | Megamind... I don't even know if you're listening, but if you are... you can't give up. The Megamind I know would never run from a fight, even if he knew he had no chance of winning! It was your best quality. You need to be that guy, right now! The city needs you... I need you. | „ |

She is an intrepid reporter, that wanted to stop Megamind's rule over Metro City at first, but after a bigger threat in the form of Tighten comes in, she and Megamind decide to work together to stop him, ending with Roxanne eventually changing him and Megamind changing Minion, with the two entering a romantic relationship after the events of the film.
She is voiced by Tina Fey in the first movie. As of Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate and Megamind Rules, she's now voiced by Laura Post.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
2010 Continuity[]
Megamind (2010)[]
- After Megamind took over the city, she did all she could to stop him and Minion from possibly doing any harm to its citizens despite having no superpowers or technologically advanced weapons.
- After Bernard (Megamind in disguise) was kidnapped by Megamind, her first thought was to try and rescue him and after she gets in a brief fight with Megamind, she tells Bernard to run to safety instead of helping her.
- Though Hal was persistent in trying to pursue Roxanne, she was still cordial and civil toward Hal while repeatedly conveying to him she had no interest in a relationship with him.
- When Hal nearly got her killed by dropping her from a high height and catching her to show her his superpowers, she told him that this was not how a superhero should behave, disapproving of his boastful and dangerously reckless behavior.
- Though she rejected Megamind, it was completely justified since he was lying to her the whole time when he was dating her as Bernard and because he seemingly killed Metro Man and took over the city as well.
- Despite Megamind lying to her about who he was when they dated, she decided to put her grudge against him aside for the sake of helping him find Metro Man so he could save the city from Tighten.
- After finding out that Metro Man had left the city in the ends of Megamind and Minion out of laziness, she was disgusted by how he could so easily desert the citizens when they needed him the most. While she did hit him on the head with an award, a guitar, and a speaker, she didn’t show any sadism and his super-strength prevented him from feeling any pain making this a heating up moment.
- Despite Megamind giving up on saving the city at first, she didn't, attempting to stop Tighten from destroying the city by reasoning with him, but failed as he was still unstable. While he refused to give up, she was still willing to put her life on the line regardless.
- After Tighten films himself holding Roxanne hostage to taunt Megamind, she takes the opportunity to give Megamind inspiring words in an attempt to restore his confidence. It succeeds and Megamind and Minion both get ready to save the city from Tighten, changing the two of them in the process.
- When Tighten starts threatening her, Roxanne tries her best to reason with him and convince Hal that he still had good inside him.
- After Megamind (Minion in disguise) is injured, she goes over to him and reassures him that while he didn't successfully save the city, she was still very proud of him for attempting it.
- When Megamind gets in a fight with Tighten, she informs him of where the invisible car is so that he can get the defuser gun and strip Tighten's powers.
- After Tighten tries to beat Megamind to death, she walks towards the two of them with a sign, attempting to help Megamind before Tighten tries to kill him by throwing him to his death. After this occurs, she shows concern for him and tries to save him even if there was no way she could.
- After Megamind defeats and apprehends Tighten, she congratulates him for this and when he gets angry at a mob of people coming towards him, she reassures everyone that he means no harm and is just not used to getting positive reception from the public.
2024 Continuity[]
Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate[]
- She inspires Megamind to not give up once again after he thought he failed all of Metro City.
- She assists Megamind in saving Metro City when the Doom Syndicate intended to launch it into space.
- She calls the mayor out for not doing anything to protect the city or taking his job seriously at all.
Megamind Rules![]
- After switching bodies with Megamind for a day, she tries to take on the role as a superhero in his place.
- While she declared Megamind as public enemy number one after supposedly believing in Machiavillain's manipulations, she was just pretending in order to help Megamind expose Machiavillain as the real villain, knowing that Machiavillain falsely accused Megamind for going back to villainy.
- She helps Megamind expose Machiavillain as the real villain to the city.
- While she did villainous stuff under Machiavillain’s orders, which included attempting to kill Megamind, she only became evil because Machiavillain brainwashed everyone, except Megamind and Keiko, into villains, and not to mention she has later snapped out of it thanks to Megamind, so this isn’t an corrupting factor.
- She destroyed the satellite after breaking free from Machiavillain's control so he doesn’t brainwash the planet to his will.
- In the aftermath she didn’t return give the Doom Syndicate their powers which will stop them from using them again to harm others and is better off her keeping them to do good with them.
- While she did have minor jerkish moments, she did apologize when she calmed down later on, meaning it was various Heating Up Periods.
