| ~ Her catch phrase |
Usagi Tsukino or known as Sailor Moon is the titular main protagonist of the Crystal and Cosmos versions of Sailor Moon anime/manga franchise.
In the Crystal anime adaption, she is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi, and by Stephanie Sheh in the English version (who also does the English voice of Orihime Inoue), both of whom reprise their role from the original anime.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Unlike her 90's Anime version she subverts her jerkish and envious traits by around the events of Dead Moon Circus Arc with any other negative traits being all Heating-Up Periods such as her having numerous emotional breakdowns in times of crisis.
- In addition, she had much less jerkish moments before then as her rivalry with Sailor Mars was only made for the 90's Anime and had less conflicts with Chibiusa too than the 90's Anime before getting along more, plus they were mostly played for comedy as well.
- While she did kill more than her 90's Anime counterpart, she isn't lethal as those were righteous kills since some of her enemies were more remorseless than in the 90's Anime where only that can't be redeemed, did it to save others or out of self-defense, where she hesitated to kill before having to resort to it and still spared anyone that can be redeemable or did redeem themselves as she hesitated in killing Professor Tomoe before forced to kill him when he couldn't be saved.
- She pretty much does the same acts as her 90s counterpart, with some differences added or removed, like the Dead Tree Arc not existing or adding her adventures in the Galaxy Cauldron.
Sailor Moon[]
- She protects the Earth and universe from various Villains and such as the Dark Kingdom, Black Moon Clan, Deathbusters, Dead Moon Circus, and Shadow Galactica.
- She rescued Hotaru Tomoe from being killed by Sailor Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, unlike their 90s Anime counterparts, she didn’t need to fight them and managed to sway them through words instead.
- She managed to redeem the Sailor Quartet, and Sailor Galaxia (who was willingly a villain, unlike her 90s counterpart)
- She managed to convince her alternate timeline counterpart of an alternative to defeat Chaos without needing to destroy the Galaxy Cauldron.
- She would become Neo Queen Serenity in the epilogue, where she and Mamoru would begin creating Crystal Tokyo.
Trivia[]
- Her 90's Anime version doesn't qualify as Pure Good because she didn't fully subverted her jerkish and envious traits before the end of the series with her having more jerkish moments with Rei and Chibiusa and a minor lethal moment that wasn't justified.
