Sally (later Sally Skellington), is the deuteragonist of Disney's The Nightmare Before Christmas franchise.
She is a humanoid ragdoll who was created by Dr. Finkelstein with various pieces stitched together, with dead leaves used as stuffing it is unlikely that she feels any physical pain.
She is voiced by Catherine O'Hara in the original film, and by Kath Soucie in the Kingdom Hearts series and The Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
The Nightmare Before Christmas[]
- She is selfless, honorable, and caring.
- Unlike the other inhabitants of Halloweentown, she has no corrupting factors.
- Despite multiple opportunities to kill her abusing boss, her worst actions were just putting him to sleep in a peaceful manner.
- Though she ran away after Dr. Finkelstein forcefully tried to drag her back to his lab, Sally willingly returned to him due to her newfound love for Jack.
- She tried to warn Jack that his Christmas plan was likely to go wrong.
- She tried to save Santa from Oogie Boogie before being caught.
- She helped Jack in stopping Oogie Boogie from usurping Jack's throne in order to become The Pumpkin King of Halloween Town.
Kingdom Hearts[]
- Gave Jack and Sora one of the ingredients to Finkelstein's heart that he's making, and yet again tried to warn Jack about the dangers it could cause.
- Tried to warn Jack yet again about the dangers of overthrowing Santa again in Kingdom Hearts III.
- Warns Jack that Oogie had kidnapped Santa and tried to help.
- Distracted Oogie so that he wouldn't turn Santa into a bloody gift.
- Made Jack a Santa suit as a Christmas present.
