Sandbar is a supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He is a male Earth pony who is a student at Twilight Sparkle's School of Friendship and one of the members of Young Six.
He was voiced by Vincent Tong.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
Season 8[]
- Even though he and his soon-to-be friends are skipping the School of Friendship, it is understandable since Twilight's strict adherence to EEA guidelines made the rest of the class become dull and boring.
- When he and his friends accidentally ruined Friends and Family Day event as they return to School of Friendship, they became remorseful over this and became sad when Chancellor Neighsay close down the school out of anger.
- Despite the fact that the School of Friendship closed down, he and his friends refused to split up and remained to stick together, showing that their bond is unbreakable.
- After Twilight re-opens the School of Friendship, he and the others are standing up to Chancellor Neighsay for his actions.
- He and the other students are working together to save Rainbow Dash and Applejack from getting stuck under the ravine and being eaten by bite-acudas.
- After Gallus revealed himself to be the ones behind the prank at the School of Friendship on Hearth's Warming due to his lonely and miserable past, he and his friends eventually forgive him and decide to stay with him during winter break so he wouldn't be alone again, showing how much they care and sympathize with him for this.
- Though he seemingly betray his own friends in favor of Chancellor Neighsay's behalf, he only did this to risk his own life to seek help from the Cutie Mark Crusaders and save his friends from their imprisonment.
- He and the Crusaders are rescuing his friends from their imprisonment.
- He and his friends are releasing Chancellor Neighsay from being chained by Cozy Glow despite his earlier treatment towards them and the other creatures.
- Attempt to remove the artifacts to release Starlight Glimmer and all of the magic Cozy Glow has drained before they have to deal with Cozy Glow and all of students from the School of Friendship.
- While confronting the students who were manipulated by Cozy Glow they have to deal with, he and his friends tried to avoid them without confrontation, showing neither of them are trying to harm them.
- After they were released by the Tree of Harmony, he and his friends manage to remove the artifacts which release Starlight Glimmer and all of the magic Cozy Glow has drained, thus saving the School of Friendship from being taken over by Cozy Glow and later exposing her true nature and crimes throughout Equestria.
- He and his friends are trying to help Cozy Glow understand the true nature of friendship but to no avail.
Season 9[]
- He and his friends were horrified of seeing the Tree of Harmony being destroyed by King Sombra, so they have to honor the tree in order to remember the history of it.
- He and his friends decide to break up their fight from arguing over their conflicting ideas of honoring the Tree of Harmony.
- He and his friends decide to build the treehouse made from the Tree of Harmony, only for them to made a shack before it was transformed into a larger treehouse.
- After Yona accidentally ruined the Amity Ball at the School of Friendship, he comforts her by saying he didn't care if he's a horrible pony or not, but she's the "best Yona" he knew, thus encouraging her to return to the dance.
- During the villains' attack at Equestria, he and his friends are evacuating the students from the School of Friendship.
- He and his friends rallying their kind into fighting back and standing up for themselves to help the Mane Six in defeating the villains during the final battle by delivering their friendship sentiments they have learned from the School of Friendship.
