This article pertains to a Pure Good with more than one version who is Pure Good!

Listen and hear a song the birds are singing.

Sit down awhile and watch the flowers blooming.
A pleasant breeze flows by leaving a trail of dust.
This. Is. Your. Fault. RIGHT.

~ Sans' opening line
If you're in there listening, kid, just reset the timeline and let's please forget all of this
~ Sans trying to convince Frisk to reset, even saying he is willing to forget everything they've done for the sake of being happy

Sans is the main protagonist of the Megalovania Piano Cover with lyrics created by Aria Rose/DulcetRefrain.

He is the older brother of Papyrus and the last obstacle standing in the way of the absolute, trying to once and for all put an end to Frisk/Chara's rampage against the underground.

He was voiced by Aria themselves.

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]

  • He lacks the mitigating factors of his main counterpart, with his past simply being that of him and Frisk eating bad food and enjoying laughs.
  • After watching Frisk/Chara's genocide on the underground from the sidelines, he eventually intervenes and attempts to stop them himself.
  • Despite killing Frisk/Chara multiple times, this was an act done to protect what remained of the underground and he showed absolutely no sadism in it.
  • Throughout the song, he repeatedly tries to convince Frisk to reset the world and bring everyone back, even saying he was willing to forget all that had happened, showing that he doesn't hold grudges.
  • He deeply cares about his brother, monologuing about how he had still believed in Frisk to do that right thing in a rather somber way.
