Sans is the main antagonist/deuteragonist of the Stronger Than You Frisk Response.
He is the older brother of Papyrus and the last obstacle Frisk/Chara must face in order to complete her genocide run. It is after Frisk has already wiped out the underground, that he decides to intervene and stop Frisk from killing and erasing everyone, he does this by continuously killing her and trying to convince her to reset, said act managing to work in the end, with Frisk resetting and bringing everybody back.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Prior to the events of the song, he was shown being friendly to Frisk, and while he was somewhat mischievous with the "Whoopy Cushion in the hand trick", he clearly didn't intend to actually annoy or hurt Frisk by doing this, meaning it isn't a prevention.
- He has shown to care deeply for his brother Papyrus, as he is seen sobbing over his remains, and it appears that his death was a large motivator in convincing Frisk to reset.
- While he did allow Frisk to commit genocide on the underground, this is likely because he hoped she would change her ways on her own instead of having to do this himself.
- While he is brutal in his methods to stop Frisk and convince her to reset, this is justified due to her past actions and the fact that it's the only way to get the point across to her. This is without mentioning that he takes absolutely no sadism in what he's doing.
- Despite having little dialogue, he is still shown to have clear characterization as seen in the multitude of appearances he has in the song.
- He ultimately convinces Frisk to reset the world, leading to the revival of every monster that was once deceased.
- As seen by him accepting her hug at the end, he ultimately shows no malice towards Frisk for committing genocide on the underground and killing his brother.
