Shinsha is one of the main characters of the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories mobile game. She is self proclaimed daughter of Rimuru Tempest. Though she initially was rejected by him and had an antagonistic role she eventually reformed herself and was accepted by Rimuru where he welcomed her.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- While most of the series is known for being gray zone or heroes with lots of preventions such them killing without remorse, that make even an NPG impossible to show up while those who do lacks them fail to pass the admirable standard, she lacks those corruptions and passes the Admirable Standards making her an outlier.
- Since the Mobile Game is a separate continuity based on the Anime, it has a much lower Admirable Standard than the main Light Novel series, meaning she doesn't need to compete with the Masked Hero, Makyasuki or other heroes who yet to do their most admirable acts or not been introduced yet.
- While she does have an TON of comedic moments they don't detract her as most were before she was taken more serious and any after it is during when she isn't doing any heroism during free time, she acts more seriously when doing heroism and facing villains.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: ISEKAI Memories[]
- While she used to have an antagonist role and had corruptions with lacking a moral agency and did do some since she was literally just born when she first appeared. After learning about the world and shaping her moral agency to choice to be good and subverts all of her corruptions.
- While she is created from Shuna's desires for a "cuter" Rimuru by Izis's Megamalina Unique Skill using Rimuru Tempest as a reference, she shows no sign of moral agency issues and even then any sort of it was subverted after gaining one after learning about the world and right & wrong on her own.
- While she did try to kill Rimuru and devoured Mirror Copies, it was during an period when she suffered from moral agency issues and was manipulated by Izis into doing so, the copies were also evil despite being sapient so she didn't know better at the time so it doesn't disqualify her as those were unintentionally heinous actions.
- To point on it when Izis tricked Shinsha to create Spiegel maiden golems to kill 20,000 people by manipulating her her more naive personality at the time by saying it was an mother and daughter bonding activity so the former can awaken as a True Demon Lord, Shinsha looked in absolute horror as innocents were slaughtered and felt complete remorse for it since she didn't intend for to cause harm and refused to make more.
- When Class S was attacked by an Kaleido sky she protected them by assisting them to take it down.
- When Falmuth setting up camp for attack she avoided killing them when they try to capture her when they found out she’s Rimuru and asked them nicely to leave instead. Though since she was more naive and more gullible at the time before she subverted those corruptions so were easily lie and fool her to get her to leave.
- When Izis sent an Kokuyou (an copy of Benimaru) to asssinate Rimuru Tempest who was in sleep state during the latter’s Demon Lord Evolution she attempt to stop him but while it failed since she was more weaker at time but it did buy enough time for Diablo to intervene and stop the Mirror Copy of the Oni.
- She played an major role in the Mad City as she helped put astop to Mokshan and Emils who was gonna destroy the world by having the Mirror World completely override the Central World, she allowed Izis (On & Off at the time) and Rimuru to stop to the two villains.
- Though Izis nearly kill her by attempting to have Veldora Against completely possesses her and later tried to kill her and Rimuru, she harbored zero grudges to her even then.
- After Rimuru was weakened and Izis powered herself up with Veldora Against's energy to try and kill them both planning on going after the other Demon Lords. She helped her father to put a stop to her and both of them spared her thinking Izis still redeemable.
- During a few months timeskip Shinsha subverts all of her corruptions and preventions by improving herself, while she do have some moments of incompetence she works to improve herself and learn from those mistakes so they don't hurt her PG status.
- While she did have a mischievous moment during a Halloween event where she and Milim Nava made children of Rimuru City cause chaos with pranks it doesn't hurt her as Halloween is foreign to the Central World and once things were cleared up between them and adults she apologized for it meaning it an Heating-Up Period and any pranks from here out for were Halloween fun this time which doesn't count as corruption.
- When she and Rimuru investigated a old witch village abandoned and saw Izis in the mercy of Cliché and the Fake King Brigade, she rushed to her aid to protect her and help manage to briefly drive the villains with hell of Rimuru and Izis.
- She also manage to convince Izis to help Rimuru in the aftermath. While Isis originally did it out of pragmatic reasons, she and Rimuru eventually help redeem and reform Izis making it out of genuine heroism instead.
- During a battle between Cliché's forces she played an major role in it:
- Though she did kill an zombie dwarf, she avoiding killing it at first and felt a lot of remorse for it. Plus it is very hard to avoid killing in That Time I Got Reincarnated as Slime series driven it's world is an survival of the fittest and it’s enemies are remorseless.
- While she did seemly went berserk when the Dark Elf tried to kill Izis out of sadism where she went all out on Gazel Ein, Carrion Soph, and Frey Aur and used Tepes on Cliché which almost killed her, it was an Heating-Up Period for the following reasons:
- Cliché attempted to kill Izis out of sadism and spite to torment her being it was caused by trauma and despair, not to mention Cliché deserved it for her numerous crimes such as example doing siege by attacking trade routes to collapse the Western Nations into starvation.
- Gazel Ein also mockingly called her weak for refusing to kill or be lethal due to her pacifist and merciful nature meaning it was played for Karma for that.
- Shinsha felt remorse for all outburst once she calmed down a she didn't want to be a remorseless killer as she intentionally avoided targeting Cliché’s heart even in that moment meaning she still held her standards of avoiding killing even then.
- She played major an role in foiling Cliché's scheme where she would’ve caused many nations from underneath with unstable tunnels she and her minions dug underneath so she can rebuild them under her rule.
- That event isn't fridge-horror due to Raphael analyzing and confirming the case to be true due to Raphael's very accurate calculations and she & other heroes were cautious when finding in the tunnels while reinforcing them to stabilize them.
- When Cliché became an Demon Lord Seed where she evolved into a Fasinator Elf and overwhelmed both Rimuru Tempest and Izis due to her special abilities, Shinsha was able to stand up to her due to her unique abilities herself that can counteract them hersrlf.
- When Cliché used her ability Snatch Bites on multiple heroes (such as Benimaru, Shion, Souei, the Three Beastiskers) and attempt to slowly painfully absorb them Shinsha came to their rescue.
- She also made amends and apologized to Emils for harshly rejecting him back in Mad City event while also redeeming him as well.
- As where the latest chapter left off she swore to stop Clicheé to protect others.
- During an story event when Mokshan attempted revenge by trapping Rimuru's friends in Mirror World Nightmare dimensions. Shinsha banished him back to the Mirror World.
- She protected Rimuru Temepst and Izis from harm from Cliché by placing them in her stomach pocket dimension for safely.
- She would imprison Cliché inside her stomach pocket dimension rather than killing her seeing possibly redeemable and want to see the beauty of the world.
- While Rimuru Tempest and the other main series characters did do more Admirable things than her, she stands out for having much lower resources since she have zero government position and lack access to an army since Rimuru has an entire nation at his disposal while those such as Benimaru, Shion, Gobta and etc has small armies of their own which allow her pass the game’s much lower admirable standards, plus she stands out from a series with bunch heroes who are gray zones or have too multiple corruptions to even qualify as an NPG.
Trivia[]
- Shinsha is currently the only That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime character to be Pure Good. This is due to series being gray zone with the top heroes being gray zone, or have too many corruptions to even qualify as an NPG such as being lethal & killing remorseless, wrathful, resort to immortal acts and etc while those who lack them fail the series which makes an PG nearly impossible to appear in, since Shinsha appears with a major role in continuity with a lower admirable standards this allowed her to be able to be PG.
- Since the storyline left on a cliffhanger her Pure Good status could be challenged but due to her remorseful nature and pacifist personality it is unlikely since any actions of hers would be justified, she would apologize to any trouble she would cause where she would learn to improve herself or they all would be considered Heating-Up Periods.
