Takashi (better known as Shiro) Shirogane is one of the main characters of Voltron: Legendary Defender. He functions as a Paladin of Voltron and is in charge of piloting the Black Lion.
He was voiced by Josh Keaton who also voiced young Hercules, Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man and Jack Darby in Transformers: Prime
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- He serves as a supportive brother figure for a majority of the team, particularly Pidge and Keith.
- In the first season, he helped stop an assault created by Sendak and Haxus.
- The season 2 finale had him sacrifice himself in order to defeat Zarkon.
- He helped Pidge rescue her father from Zarkon.
- During one of the final scenes of the season 7 finale, he gave a speech at the funeral of the people who died in his arms or at the hands of Sendak during invasion.
- He helped the heroes defeat multiple villains that served as major threats to the universe as a whole, such as Lotor, Sendak, and Honerva.
