What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
In General[]
- Even as a young child, she was perfectly capable of sympathising with innocence that had been hurt, as shown when she finds a wounded bird and decides to take care of it until it is nursed back to health.
- Due to this, she was admired throughout the kingdom for her beauty, kindness and bravery. This is shown even when she tried to help endangered people, they begged her to leave them because they knew that as long as she lived, there was hope.
- Furthermore, when they first and finally met, she was blessed by the White Hart because he knew that Snow White was life itself, and that she was destined to destroy Ravenna's dark reign once and for all.
- Takes her mother's words that she possessed a rare form of beauty - kindness and compassion for all beings - and that she should always value that trait, to heart, retaining her empathy and goodwill to other people in her life in spite of the tragedies she suffers.
- Although Snow White does, in fact, have some similarities to Ravenna, who comments that they both "aren't so different", is that they both lost their home, family and innocence to a selfish and tyrannical ruler at a young age, there are differences between both of them is that Snow White was able to rise above her tragic circumstances and remains selfless and hopeful, whilst Ravenna is consumed by hatred.
Snow White and the Huntsman[]
- Finds a wounded bird and nurses it back to health from a broken wing as a child.
- Tearfully mourns her mother's death from illness in grief.
- Becomes horrified and devastated when her father is murdered by her stepmother, Ravenna.
- During her time in prison, she befriends Greta, one of Ravenna's prisoners, and even tries to raise her spirits. After Greta has her youth drained by Ravenna which causes her to age, Snow White concernedly tries to talk to her.
- Although she does attack her step-uncle, Finn, with a loose nail she finds outside of her window in order to escape her cell, it is only out of self-defense as she finds out that Ravenna is after her heart, and Finn is attempting to make a move on her.
- Attempts to help an aged Greta escape her cell, only for her reluctantly to leave Greta behind after she tearfully begs her to, knowing she will be too frail to keep up.
- Tries to save a horse that she rode to escape during the chase and fell into a swamp.
- After being found by Eric the Huntsman (who was ordered by Ravenna to hunt her down and capture her) in the Dark Forest, Snow White tries to plead with him, saying that the Queen will kill her, and betray him.
- While she holds Eric at knifepoint after punching him and grabbing one of his daggers even though he becomes her ally upon learning the truth about Ravenna, it is only because she believes that Eric is still trying to capture her since Ravenna is the one who asked him to so it is understandable.
- Stops a troll from attacking her and Eric by standing in its path and screaming at it to calm it down, considering that she is unwilling to leave Eric behind to fight off the beast by himself and let himself get killed, only for the troll to leave her due to her purity of heart. She also never, once in that entire encounter, tries to harm the troll.
- Though she states she doesn't trust Eric enough at first to reveal her true identity to him, she keeps listening to his advice on how to survive in the Dark Forest.
- During her time in a village populated only by women and girls, she befriends one of the young girls, even plays with her and helps the young girl's mother look after her.
- When Eric finally learns of her true identity, Snow White apologizes to him and explains that she didn't tell him because she wasn't sure if he could be trusted.
- Wants to stay and help the villagers after their village gets attacked by Finn and his soldiers but is insisted to escape with Eric.
- Reveals her father's identity to the Dwarves who capture and nearly kill her and Eric so they will free them. She later thanks them for their hospitality and befriends them.
- Becomes delighted when she reunites with her childhood friend William, whom she was separated from during Ravenna's attack at the castle. She also stops Gus from almost killing William.
- When Gus, one of the Dwarves, is shot by an archer who tries to shoot an arrow at her, she mourns his death sobbing in grief.
- Reassures William that he did not leave her because they were both just children during the massacre at Tabor when he apologizes to her for leaving her.
- Despite what Ravenna had done to her, she tells William (who was actually Ravenna in disguise) that she used to hate her but now she pities Ravenna, recognizing what a lonely and tragic figure Ravenna is. However, although she says that she pities her stepmother, this doesn't stop her from trying to defeat Ravenna to save her people.
- After being revived by Eric, she gives an inspiring speech to her people, encouraging them to fight back so they can restore Tabor back to a kingdom of light, and informs them that she alone possesses the power to defeat Ravenna.
- Leads her army to Tabor and, despite the Dark Army furiously slaughtering them, refuses to turn back because she has promised her army.
- When she eventually finds Ravenna, she engages in a one-on-one duel with her stepmother. Despite being overpowered, she still tries with all her might to bring down Ravenna.
- While she does attack Ravenna in a blind rage, it is only because Ravenna taunts her about her father being weak so it is understandable.
- She finally kills Ravenna by stabbing her in the heart with the dagger she had taken from Eric, thus saving her people and friends and avenging her father. Despite Ravenna's crimes, she also appears to feel sorry for her stepmother by shedding tears and sadly telling her that she can't have her heart.
- After defeating Ravenna and ending her tyrannical rule over Tabor, she takes her place as Tabor's rightful queen.
Winter's War[]
- Upon discovering that Ravenna's Magic Mirror had a dark magic that of which evil had been becoming increasingly powerful with time, Snow White ordered her guards to take it to the Sanctuary so its magic could be forever contained.
