✓ Sophia, codenamed Sophie while in the Metaverse, is one of the main characters and party members in the 2020 action-adventure spin-off video game, Persona 5 Strikers.
She is an AI created by the talented Kuon Ichinose, originally created in order to understand more about the human heart. She later becomes a member of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts in order to aid them to find the truth behind the mysterious changes of hearts involving EMMA happening all over Japan, while learning what it mean to have a heart.
She was voiced by Misaki Kuno in Japanese, and by Megan Harvey in the English dub.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- Helped the protagonist, Ryuji Sakamoto and Morgana get safely out of Alice Hiiragi's Jail.
- Defeated Alice Hiiragi, Ango Natsume and Mariko Hyodo's Shadow, allowing them to realize what they've done, redeem themselves, and freed everyone who was brainwashed by them using EMMA.
- Volunteered to take the pain of one of the bird cages for Ryuji.
- Freed everyone who was brainwashed in Okinawa by Lock Keeper in the Jail.
- Helped save Akane, who was used as a pawn by Akira Konoe and was basically manipulated and possibly was brainwashed using EMMA against her will into being a Jail Monarch, all in attempt by Konoe to imprison the Phantom Thieves.
- Defeated Akira Konoe, who tried to brainwash everyone in order to "exterminate the evils of this world".
- Reached out to Kuon Ichinose, and despite having a very good reason to not trust her, or even dislike her since she brainwashed her to fight the Thieves and basically treated her like a doll for her own gain, gave Ichinose a pep talk, saying that she still considered her a friend and that she believed that she could change. This eventually succeeded as Ichinose later redeems herself, even helping them in taking down EMMA.
- Helped in defeating EMMA, who tried to brainwash humanity much like Akira Konoe, in order to bring them to "salvation".
Trivia[]
- She's one of the four Persona 5 heroes to be Pure Good, alongside Makoto Niijima, Sae Niijima, and Zenkichi Hasegawa.
- She and Zenkichi Hasegawa are the only ones to be from Persona 5 Strikers.
