Pure Good Wiki

This article pertains to a Pure Good with more than one version who is Pure Good!

Miguel. It’s Peter. We got the anomaly.
~ Lego Spider-Man to Miguel

Peter Benjamin Parker, also known as Spider-Man, is a major protagonist in both Lego Marvel Superheroes 1 and 2 and a minor character in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. He is a superhero originating from Earth-13122, a universe that’s made entirely out of Lego.

He was voiced by James Arnold Taylor in the first game who also voiced Ratchet in the Ratchet & Clank franchise and Milo James Thatch in Atlantis: Milo’s Return, Martin Sherman in the second, and Nic Novicki in Across the Spider-Verse.

What Makes Him Pure Good?[]

In General[]

  • Within the first two games, the only characters he has to compete with are Captain America, Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. Despite this, he still manages to stand out as he played a major role in defeating both main villains (Loki, Galactus, and Kang) in addition to defeating several other villains. While there’s also Black Widow, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange, She Hulk, Captain Marvel, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, the Inhumans, Guardians Of The Galaxy, Black Panther, etc. Their most admirable acts are really limited to one game. The Fantastic Four and the X-Men aren’t in the second game so they didn’t contribute to stopping Kang; She Hulk, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Wasp, Black Panther, and the Guardians Of The Galaxy were mainly cameos in the first game so they too didn’t contribute at all in stopping Galactus and Loki from destroying Earth and Asgard; black widow and Hawkeye don’t really contribute in the final battle in the first game and don’t appear in any of the story missions in the second game. Because of this, Thor, Iron Man, Hulk, Spider-Man, and Cap are the only 5 heroes to play major roles consistently in both games.
    • While he does crossover with several Spider-Men from different universes, he still manages to stand out for saving billions of lives from Galactus and Loki and stopping Kang’s multiversal conquest. It should be noted that since he is a living Lego mini figure (thus making him the size of a real life one), he is way smaller than all the other spider men and naturally has less resources than them.
  • While he does have a mischievous moment in the first game where he helps Iron Man tow Doom’s plane out of his space station, it’s not corrupting enough to disqualify him since it didn’t cause any harm and it was very brief. Plus, he doesn’t do anything like this afterward in either the sequel or in ATSV.

Background[]

  • Similar to his other counterparts, it’s likely that after getting bit by a radioactive spider and losing uncle Ben, he used his powers to stop criminals.
  • It’s heavily implied that he probably fought and defeated many of his famous rogues gallery in the past such Green Goblin, Dr Octopus, Sandman, Venom, The Lizard, Carnage, Shocker, Electro, rino, Vulture, Kraven the hunter, and Mysterio.

Lego Marvel Superheroes[]

  • In “Sand Central Station”, he helped Iron Man and Hulk defeat Sandman.
  • In “Times Square Off”, he helped Captain America and Mr. Fantastic defeat Dr. Octopus.
  • In “Exploratory Laboratory”, he helped Hawkeye and Black Widow defeat Venom.
  • In “That Sinking Feeling”, he helped Iron Man and Thor defeat MODOK.
  • In “Magnetic Personality”, he helped Iron Man and Thor defeat Magneto.
  • In “A Doom with a View”, he helped Captain America, The Thing, and Storm defeat Doctor Doom.
  • In “The Good, the Bad, and the Hungry”, he helped The Thing, Green Goblin and Mystique repair one of the S.H.I.E.L.D. rotos and direct it the wind back at Galactus and blowing him away from the helicarrier (with venom on them two doing the same to the second roto), thus giving team 3 (mainly Mr fantastic) time to create a portal so that Hulk and Thor could send them into a portal and prevent them from destroying Earth and Asgard.
  • In “A Shock Withdraw”, he (with the help of Captain America and Iron Man) defeated Electro and Shocker and stopped the, from robbing a bank.
  • In “Feeling Frisky”, he and Captain America helped Daredevil defeat Kingpin, Electra, and Bullseye.
  • In “Nuff Said”, he and Mr. Fantastic defeated Vulture and Howard the duck when they were attacking Marvel HQ.
  • In “Reptilian Ruckus”, him and thing defeated the lizard.

Lego Marvel Superheroes 2[]

  • In “Avengers World Tour”, he helped Ms. Marvel and White Tiger defeat Shocker,Mysterio, Vulture, Kraven The Hunter, and Dr Octopus.
  • Helped Spider Gwen chase after Green Goblin 2099.
  • In “What's Klaw's is Mined”, he helped Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and Black Panther defeat Man-Ape/M’Baku.
  • In “Rune to Maneuver”, he helped Dr Strange and She Hulk defeat Mordo and Dormammu and prevent the latter from assimilating chronopolis into the dark dimension and ruling the world.
    • Additionally, he also helped them get the book of vishanti so that Strange could later unify the nexus fragments together and tear a whole through chronopolis and defeat Kang.
  • In “Noir Night-Mayor”, he helped Ms. Marvel, She Hulk, Iron Fist, Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Spider Man Noir defeat Kingpin, Hammerhead, and Electra Noir. Because of this, Iron first was later able to help them enter K’un Lun and get a nexus fragment from Navos.
  • In “K'un-Lun Konundrum”, he helped Ms. Marvel defeat Navos.
  • Helped Ms. Marvel defeat Electro 2099.
  • In “Symbiote Surprise”, he helped Ms. Marvel, She Hulk, Spider Gwen, Spider man Miguel (2099) defeat Carnom and Green Goblin 2099.
  • Helped Iron Man, Doctor Strange, Star Lord, and Cosmo the dog repair the equipment on Knowwere, thus allowing them to activate the EMP and take down Kang’s defenses, thus allowing the other Avengers (as well as the inhumans and Guardians of the galaxy) to fight against Kang’s army while Cap, Star lord, Captain marvel, and Strange confronted Kang himself.
  • In “On Board the Sword”, he helped Iron Man and Star Lord defeat Horvac.

Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse[]

  • At some point after the events of LM2, he was recruited by Miguel O'Hara into the Spider Society and began watching for any anomalies that threatened the multiverse.
  • When Spot appeared in his universe one day, he reported it to Miguel and later joined the Spider Society HQ at Earth-928 to assist the other Spider-Men in dealing with Spot.

Trivia[]

  • Him and Captain America are the only 2 Lego Marvel characters to be Pure Good.
