Peter Parker better known as Spider-Man is the main protagonist of the Playstation Spider-Man videogames released in the early 2000s. Like most incarnations, he is a high schooler who was bitten by a radioactive spider and has since gained spider-like powers, becoming the vigilante Spider-Man to keep New York safe.
He was voiced by Rino Romano, who also voiced Batman in The Batman.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
Spider-man (PS1)[]
- He was truthful towards Daredevil who was investigating him as he warns his pursuit of clearing his name before New Yorks finest catch him before it's too late, leading to Daredevil pledging his innocence to be spread across New York to support his story.
- When Black Cat reminds him that Venom had kidnapped Mary Jane, He insists on helping her take down Rhino, reminding his vow of using his powers for good to save innocent people at all cost.
- When Confronting Venom who kidnapped Mary Jane, he angrily berates him for mistaking the imposter Spider-man (Who was revealed to be Mysterio) at the Science Expo Heist due to the latter's arrogance of falsely accusing him when pointing out to have accidentally bumping into Eddie in the crowd.
- Despite being Married to Mary Jane, he checks onto Black Widow if she was alright before the latter initially warns him about the false ambulance kidnapping by both Carnage and Doctor Octopus.
- Despite his differences with Venom, He allows working alongside him to investigate the culprit.
- When interrogating Mysterio, he warns the latter that no one can control the symbioses, fully knowing their nature and became serious when concerning the supervillain about the Symbiote invasion threatening New-York, by mentioning that "They will destroy everything unless I stop it" before continuing his pursuit.
- He lightens the mood by confronting his enemies such as Mysterio who stated "for decades I wanted to shut that mouth of yours" implying he thwarted the Supervillains numerous times prior to the events of the game.
- When he notices the Punisher's attempt at his life by using a sniper, He openly approaches him from behind by staying to his own story.
- When arriving at Waterfront Warehouse 65, When the Punisher offers to team up with him, Spider-man became concerned with teaming up with him, stating he want's to keep the kill count "low" fully knowing of the vigilantes violent nature and preventing any bad guys to be caught in serious harm.
- He saved New York City from the Symbiote Invasion.
- At the Daily Bugle Database, being able to defeat a couple of purple hybrids.
- Although after defeating The Carnage symbiote that would separate from an unconscious Cletus Kasity who was left to be caught in the explosion after defeating Monster Ock, This was because Spider-man didn't have enough time to go back into the base and save Cletus before the explosion and is seen carrying out an unconscious Doc Ock to be picked up by Captain America.
Spider-man 2: Enter Electro (PS1)[]
- Despite Captain America taking credit for "Foiling" Doc Ock's Sinister Plot and still branding The Hero as a threat still at large, Spider-man continues his Heroic career in New York at the beginning of the game regardless. After interrogating a thug after being lured into a trap, Spider-man sense the Shocker attempting to blast him and takes the hit to save the Thug.
- After Defeating Shocker, he saves him from the exploding warehouse the villain caused before leaving him webbed up for the authorities to catch up to the supervillain.
- He saves an unconscious Pilot by leaving him for the ambulance and authorities but not before launching another tracker onto a helicopter to trace the culprit.
