Peter Benjamin Parker better known as Spider-Man is the main protagonist of the What If...? episode What if... Zombies!?
He was voiced by Hudson Thames.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Since he had an almost identical life to his MCU Counterpart, it can be assumed that he used his powers for good from the beginning unlike other versions who used it for their own gain before Uncle Ben was killed.
- After the outbreak began, he grouped up with other survivors and kept them all safe by using his webs to create a base out of trains webbed between buildings where the zombies were unable to reach them.
- He and Hope rescue Bruce from the zombified Iron Man, Black Order and Sorcerers, with Peter swinging him to safety.
- At some point he made a tutorial for further survivors on how to survive the zombie apocalypse which he then showed to Bruce.
- After receiving a message from a possible survivor camp, he and the others headed out to find them.
- He initially refused to split up the team due to the circumstances. His concerns turned out to be valid when Happy and Sharon and Bucky and Okoye were respectively ambushed by a zombified Hawkeye and Falcon, the former turned into zombies as a result.
- He tried to jumpstart the train for the team to escape, using his webs to pull it forward.
- He was very saddened when he learned of Happy's death, but tried to keep going anyways so that the rest could escape in the train.
- He succeeded in starting the train but was violently thrown backwards towards a horde of zombies, before being saved by the Cloak of Levitation.
- After hearing commotion, he and the others ran to the back of the train to come across the Zombified Sharon, who Hope killed, though it infected her.
- As Hope took a seat, Peter tried to cheer her up, which led her to ask how he could remain so positive in spite of everything. Peter says that despite losing so many people in his life, he always strived to remain positive, that was a way of going through life. This inspired Hope to sacrifice herself, which allowed the survivors to get into Camp Lehigh, Peter then thanked Hope for her sacrifice.
- He and Bruce confronted Vision about the whereabouts of the survivors who had previously answered his call before Bucky came back with T'Challa.
- As the zombified Scarlet Witch burst into the room and killed Kurt, Peter joined the others in fighting her, using his webs to tie her up which stalled her for a while before she broke free.
- He gave the Cloak of Levitation to Scott's disembodied head so that he could escape on his own as well.
- He refused to leave Bucky behind when he planned to stay to fight.
- He carried T'Challa all the way to the Quinjet after Bucky stayed behind to fight the Zombie Wanda.
- He then tried to convince Banner to come with them, but he chose to stay and fight, giving Peter the Mind Stone so he could work in a possible cure and telling him to avenge them.
- After escaping, he had a heart-to-heart with T'Challa and Scott as they motivated each other and vowed to keep going.
- With the mind stone in his possession, he tries to find a cure for the Quantum Virus which would save the millions of infected around the world.
