Star Saber is the main protagonist of Transformers: Victory, the main installment in the japanese portion of the Transformes Generation One continuity.
He was voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Ever since he was a child, he was shown to be a very noble individual who never misbehaved and was seen by others as a good example of heroism.
- 500,000 years ago he stopped Deathsaurus from using his planet-destroying fortress to bring chaos to the galaxy, defeating him and imprisioning him in the Dark Nebula, saving thousands of lives.
- When he found Jan Minakaze as the only survivor of a human shuttle attacked by the Decepticons, he chose to take him in and raise him as his own son.
- He protected Iron Town from Decepticon attacks.
- He saved Lunar Base and kept Deathsaurus from destroying it, defeating him by himself in hand-to-hand combat and also taking on the Dinoforce even after they combined into Dinoking.
- Succesfully defeated Dinoking and kept the humans on Lunar Base safe.
- He worked with Road Caesar to save Jan's school from the Decepticons.
- He took on both Dinoforce and Leozack, in the ensuing battle he prevented them from destroying several locations, such as an energy plant and a uranium mine.
- After losing contact with the multiforce, he went by himself to resuce them, arriving just in time to save them from the Decepticons.
- Resisted Hellbat's hypnotic waves and managed to defeat him in spite of the mental strain it took.
- He and Blacker saved marine city from getting blown up by Leozack using a neutron bomb.
- He fought Dinoking on several more occasions and saved Jan and his friends from being attacked by them once.
- When the Decepticons began a scheme to gather energy, he foiled their plans with the help of the Multiforce.
- He rescued dozens of human pilots who had been captured and imprisoned by the Decepticons.
- He pushed himself to the max by using all his strength to lift a an entire power plant that was overloading with energy and throwing it offworld, saving the entire planet of Micro.
- When Jan expressed fear over Star Saber's possible death while fighting Decepticons, he comforted him and reassured him that he wouldn't die yet.
- He confronted the combined might of Deathsaurus and Liokaiser even though he was gravely injured from a previous fight with his archnemesis.
- When God Ginrai was fatally wounded and asked him to use his parts to power himself, he refused as he found such an act to be highly inmoral and only accepted it as it was what Ginrai wanted to do, respecting his friend's dying wish.
- He accepted Ginrai's parts which he then used to make him into Victory Leo.
- Combined with Victory Leo to form Victory Saber and take on Deathsaurus, saving all of humanity from being destroyed.
- When he realized that the Dinoforce genuinely cared about each other and put themselves in harm's way for the safety of their leader Goryu, he chose to spare them in spite of everything they had done and gave them time to heal before they eventually fought again.
- When Leozack was impersonating him and defacing his repuation, he exposed him as a fraud.
- After the Decepticons raised Atlantis which led to several tidal waves forming, he organized several relief efforts for the human civilization on Portugal (which was the closest to Atlantis).
- He defeated Dinoking once and for all and accepted the Dino Force's wish to change for the better, allowing them to live peacefull on Earth.
- He dueled Deathsaurus one final time, succesfully defeating him and destroying him alongside his fortress once he had no other choice, saving the planet once more.
- In the manga, where Deathsaurus is shown to have been trying to free his wife and others trapped in teh fortress, he spared him and peacefully ended the victory war.
- After the discovery of Energon Z, he had Micro fortified with the new energy source and renamed it Planet Z.
- When Violen Jiger began attacking several planets, he ordered numerous troops on various planets to protect them from his attacks.
- Being unable to leave Feminia in time, he chose to sacrifice himself to save the whole planet. Though he luckily survived, he was still grievously injured.
- He appointed Dai Atlas as the new Autobot leader after he proved his fighting skills.
- in Transformers Universe he was among those who fought in the Universe war.
