Sun-Hee is the titular deuteragonist of the Amazon Prime TV series animated spinoff The Boys Presents: Diabolical seventh episode "John and Sun-Hee."

She is the sickly wife of John dying of cancer, until John uses Compound V to restore her health, though coming with the side effect of her having a sentient tumor that attacks life around her. While escaping from Vought, she does everything in her power to stop her tumor.

She is voiced by Youn Yuh-jung.

What Makes Her Pure Good?[]

  • Though her powers do end up attacking and killing soldiers and animals, it is clearly against her will and she is very remorseful about it.
  • Despite having the chance to run away and live a happy life with John, she sacrifices her life to increase her power and stop the Supe Cancer from spreading and eating more lives.
  • She apologizes to John before dying and asks him to not be sad over her death.
  • Despite the high admirable standard of the franchise, she had her powers for a very short time compared to others and her actions resulted in likely countless lives saved.
  • Unlike most characters from the franchise, she has absolutely no corrupting qualities and is a kind old woman who cares more about the lives of others than her own.
