Talim is a heroine in the Soulcalibur series of fighting games. She is the last wind priestess of her tribe, who communicates with the Wind and uses its powers to her advantage when in battle. She has a kind demeanor, and often seeks guidance from the wind went faced with tough hurdles in her travels.
She is voiced by Yukari Tamura in the Japanese version, and by Julie Parker, Kate Higgins and Kira Buckland in the English version.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- Unlike most characters in the series, she successfully resisted Soul Edge's influence after touching a shard of the cursed sword, rendering her unaffected by its omnicidal ambitions.
- She attempts to cure a sick boy afflicted by Soul Edge with various rituals to excursive the evil out of him, and never gives up hope in doing so.
- Attempted to convince Yun-Seong that Soul Edge is evil, and will cause destruction once he takes hold of it, to no avail.
- After defeating Algol, she reverts Soul Calibur and Soul Edge to their harmless, docile forms, before transferring them back into the Astral Chaos, that way they would never causes harm in the real world again.
- She uses the powers of the swords (as well as the Wind) to resurrect Algol's dead son Arcturus.
