~ Barry Allen to Team Flash. |
Bartholomew Henry "Barry" Allen, also known as The Flash, is the deuteragonist of DC’s Arrowverse.
He is a forensic scientist at Central City police department and was struck by lighting from an accelerator at S.T.A.R. Labs that malfunctioned and created a thundercloud, he was granted superhuman speed. Barry decided to protect Central City from threats with the aid of his friends and allies.
He is portrayed by Grant Gustin. The late Logan Williams and Liam Hughes played the younger version of the character.

- Chose saving all the passengers in the train rather than confronting Snart.
- Stopped Bette Sans Souci from killing General Eiling, despite her being justified in killing him.
- Saved Thawne from being killed by Blackout.
- He dissuaded Oliver Queen from relying so much in torture and using the death of his mother and his traumatic experiences when he was missing as an excuse.
- Went back in time to stop Weather Wizard from destroying Central City. While it was an accident and that he didn't mean to go through time, it was a good thing that he did.
- Immediately forgave Cisco for giving his identity up to Snart, understanding that his brother was being threatened and Cisco only did what he did to save his life.
- Convinced Snart to stop killing people as a challenge.

Season 2 and Supergirl Season 1[]
- Gave several chances to the metahumans from Earth-2 to go straight and leave committing crime for Zoom.
- Despite that he killed Atom Smasher (Earth-2) by leading him into a chamber at a nuclear plant and trapped him in it, which caused the latter to absorb too much of the plant's radiation, he was given no choice and there was no other way to stop him. The Flash at least starts apologizing, showing remorse and how he didn't want it to end like this.
- Despite that he also killed Sand-Demon (Earth-2) by throwing lightning at him, which caused him to turn into glass and shatter into the ground, he was only trying to save Patty Spivot at the time, not to mention that there was also no choice as well.

- Attempted to save Harry Wells from Griffin Grey despite surrendering his speed to Zoom.
- Helped Supergirl fight against Silver Banshee and Livewire, and although they did not defeat them, the confrontation allowed the people of National City to regain trust in Supergirl.

- Captured Black Siren from Earth-2.
- Doesn't kill Zoom during their last battle in spite of Zolomon taunting him that he's weak and he killed his father right in front of him.
- Even if Flash did kill Zoom to avenge his father, it would've been 100% justified because Zoom is a multiversal threat and a monster in every sense of the word.
- Convinces one of his time-remnants to sacrifice his life to destroy Zoom's Magnetar. As the time-remnant is Barry with just some memories elapsed, it proved Barry is noble enough to sacrifice his own life to save the multiverse.
