~ Tiff unleashes her wrath when she sees an anime the Otakings made about her because she was portrayed as an "airhead" in "Geek Anime! Fumu-tan of the Stars." |
Tiffany "Tiff" Ebrum (known in Japan as Fumu and as such in an anime which her fans, the Otakings, make in the episode "Geek Anime! Fumu-tan of the Stars!") is the main deuteragonist of the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime series, Tiff is a humanoid resident of Popstar who is known for her high intelligence. Her name is just given as Tiff in the anime itself, so the name given here is an extrapolation. She is Sir Ebrum and Lady Like's daughter, and Tuff's older sister. She is shown to be smart like Kirby is in the games.
She was voiced by Sayuri Yoshida in the Japanese version and by Kerry Williams in the English version.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- While she can be short-tempered at times, it's only because Kirby and/or others often don't listen to her warnings, especially when it comes to King Dedede, and get themselves into danger or do something foolish, making her heating-up moments out of common sense.
- She deeply cares for Kirby and Tuff even if they can be foolish most of the time.
- Due to how much she cares for Kirby, she is the only one who can summon the Warp Star whenever he's in trouble.
- When Kirby ended up inflating up like a balloon and at risk of popping, when she got a sample of the chips that caused his condition, she tried helping Kirby and finding him a cure.
- She defeated the bullies that King Dedede ordered to destroy the school, but showed remorse for doing so.
- When Kirby attempted to help Sword and Blade stop WolfWrath, Tiff stopped him and told him to stay with her and her family for his safety.
- While she does laugh at King Dedede for being dirty and homeless from selling his Waddle Dees, this was changed later on and she became more empathetic.
- Even so, Dedede brought his own misery and fall from grace on himself by taking his Waddle Dees for granted and selling them off to the Cappies.
- She is always against King Dedede's schemes because she wants to protect Kirby.
- She helped Escargoon repair Escar-droid, even though she didn't want to in the first place because she knew something bad was gonna happen, but she still gave Escargoon a chance.
- While she was hostile towards the Otakings, it was only because they stalked and made a terrible anime of her.
- In the original Japanese version of the episode where this happened, said anime featured a heavily sexualized depiction of her (which was censored in international dubs), making her outrage even more justified as she is a child.
- When Kirby and King Dedede got very fat and were forced to do a workout that almost got Kirby killed, Tiff pressed the button to prevent this from happening when Kirby got stuck.
- There are times where she trusts King Dedede and Escargoon and she also allowed them to help Kirby as well.
- Despite how much she hates King Dedede, she felt sorry for him when King Dedede was sad over nobody appreciating him. Therefore, she tried to convince Tuff and got Kirby to give King Dedede a watermelon as a present (though this backfired).
- Although she is sometimes prone to falling for Dedede's tricks like everybody else, she eventually shows remorse.
- She and Kirby defeated eNeMeE at the end of the series.
