Tintin is the titular main protagonist of the comic book series The Adventures of Tintin, written by the late cartoonist Hergé. An adventurer and reporter, he travels world-wide with his terrier Snowy.
He is portrayed by Jean-Pierre Talbot in Tintin and the Mystery the Golden Fleece (1961) and Tintin and the Blue Oranges (1964). He was voiced by Philippe Ogouz in Tintin and the Temple of the Sun (1969) and by Jacques Careuil in Tintin and the Lake of Sharks (1972). He was voiced by Colin O'Meara in the 1991 TV animated series and by Jamie Bell in the 2011 computer-animated film.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- Defended Professor Sophocles Sarcophagus from being beaten by Rastapopoulos just for accidentally stepping on his feet.
- He saved Chang Chong-Chen from drowning, thus becoming one of his best friends, Tintin later rescues him from the harsh Himalayan climate despite many people claiming Chang is dead.
- He prevented Allan from selling canned crab meat in the Sahara when it was actually drugs.
- He supports Captain Haddock in helping him search for the hidden maps of the Unicorn and find the treasure of Sir Francis Haddock.
- He likes helping people specially Captain Haddock and Thomson and Thompson.
- He has forgiven Wolfe when he showed regret for being a double agent for another organization and has rarely lashed out at anyone unless when needed (when Captain Haddock risked his life when he drank alcohol to literally go back to Marlinspike Hall from the rocket which is in outer space).
- In "The Red Sea Sharks", Tintin saved thousands of muslims from slavery.
- Despite that Muller tried to kill him several times he was chocked when this one tried to commit suicide.
