Ultraman Geed (also known by his human name Riku Asakura), is the titular main protagonist of the series of the same name. He is the synthetic son of Ultraman Belial, created by Kei Fukude by using the genes of the former. However, thanks to having a good upbringing, he ultimately went on to became a hero rather than a villain.
He is voiced and portrayed by Tatsuomi Hamada in both his human form and ultra form.
What Makes him Pure Good[]
In General/Background[]
- When asked by Moa, what he wanted to be in the future, he replied by saying he wanted to be a super hero.
- Upon learning that the public had feared him due to his resemblance to Belial, he initially considered giving up on fighting as a whole as he didn’t want to frighten them. Despite this though, by the end of episode 2, he eventually chose to continuing fighting as Geed anyways as he had come to realize that it was it was right thing to do.

As Riku Asakura[]
- In episode 1, he saved his boss Haruo’ Kane from getting killed by Skull Gomor
- In episode 2, he managed to save Mayu from Dada
- Upon realizing how difficult Leito’s job as a salary man was, he apologized to him for previously telling him it was easy (in comparison to being an Ultra).
- When asked by Leito in episode 8, if Zero had died during the battle against Galactron, he reassured him that he was confident he didn’t.
- During his interaction with Leiah in episode 9, he admitted to being glad that she didn’t kill Kei in front Mayu who was a child.
- Upon learning that Moa Azaki had discovered he was Geed, he admitted to her that the reason he didn’t tell her earlier was that he didn’t want her to get involved in his problems.
- During the climax of episode 12, he helped his terminally I’ll adoptive father Sui get to safety during Kei/Pandanium Zetton’s rampage.
- It should be noted that Sui had encouraged him to leave him behind, however Riku ultimately chose to try and help him so that he could live out the rest of his life.
- In episode 13,him, Pega, Leiah, Zero all recap what had happened in the past 12 episodes when they thought she had lost her memories of them.
- Additionally, during the end, him and Pega briefly apologized to her for playing indoor baseball as they had come to believe that it had lead to the ball hitting REM and her “loosing her memories” of them. (In reality, REM didn’t loose her memories of them and was simply play pretend so that Riku and Pega wouldn’t do it again).
- Upon being freed from Belial’s Chimeraberos form by Leiah he thanked her for helping him
- At the end of episode 19, he assisted Pega and Leiah in cleaning up the primary room in their base after Kei wrecked it during his temporary take over.
- While he did act like a jerk to Pega in episode 21 (after he accidentally broke his favorite watch), he eventually felt bad about it and made an apology to him.
- In episode 21, he saved Pega from getting killed (unintentionally/accidentally) by Gubila
- Despite the risk involved, he reluctantly gave Kei the capsules of Alien Empera and Dark Lugiel so that he would spare Arie’s life
- When Moa started blaming herself for Arie’s death, he and the others reasured her that it wasn’t her fault
- Under the belief that it was going to be his final battle, he left goodbye card to his friends

- In episode 1, he managed to defeat Kei Fukude in his Skull Gomora form
- In episode 2, he managed to defeat Kei Fukude in his Skull Gomora form again and prevent him from killing Eri
- In episode 3, he defeated 3 Darkclops Zeros
- In episode 4, he manage to defeat Eleking and prevent him killing Alien Pitt
- In episode 5, he purified Earthron. By doing this, he was ultimately able to calm him down and stop his rampage
- In episode 6, he managed to defeat Kei Fukude in his Thunder Killer form
- In episode 8, him and Zero defeated the 2 Galactrons that were summoned by Kei Fukude
- In episode 9, he managed to defeat Kei Fukude in his Skull Gomora form a third time and prevent him potentially killing Leito’s daughter Mayu
- In episode 10, he managed to save Moa and Satoko when Zandrias accidentally got them blown into a wind storm
- In episode 12, he defeated Kei Fukude in his Pedanium Zetton form
- In episode 15, him and Zero managed to defeat Alien Shadow Kurata and Zegan and prevent them from conquering Earth.
- During the battle, him and Zero tried to offer the former the chance to give up his invasion and be like his old master Zena.
- In episode 17, he managed to defeat Belial in his Chimeraberos form
- In episode 18, he managed to defeat Kei in his Thunder Killer form and Zaigorg
- In episode 19, he defeated Mechagomora
- In episode 20, him and Zero managed to defeat Star Bem Gyeron and prevent him and reviving himself
- In episode 21, he managed to defeat Kei in his Pedanium Zetton form and prevent him from killing Gubilla.
- In episode 23, he managed to defeat Kei Fukude in Pedanium Zetton during their final battle
- In episode 24, he saved Zero from getting killed by Belial
- In episode 25, he managed to defeat Belial for good and separate him from alien Reiblood, thus ending his reign of terror permanently while also preventing him from destroying the universe.
- Additionally, upon going through Belial’s memories, he spent his final moments with him hugging him and trying to sympathize with him while also offering him redemption.

- Upon learning from his friends that Zero and Orb had been “digitized”, he immediately felt remorse for it and started angrily started blaming himself.
- As Airu was dying, , he guilt-fully apologized to her for failing to save her and for thinking he was alone

- Defeated the Mk2 version of Galactron
- Helped Zero, Orb, and Juggler destroy the 5 remaining Galactrons on earth that were sent by Gilvaris
- Gilvaris and prevent him from digitalizing/wiping out all intelligent life in the multiverse

- Upon realizing that Katsumi had gone missing, he immediately began helping the Miyato family look for him
- In the climax, he helped Toi’s mother get back to safety
As Geed[]
- In the first battle of the film, he helped Katsumi and Isami defeat Bemstar and Gan-Q Additionally, during the fight, he also managed to alert the former two that Pega was inside of Gan-Q before they were about to finish him off, thus saving Pega in the proces Saved Toi’s mother from getting killed
- In the climax, he helped Katsumi, Isami, and Griego defeat Tregear and free Toi from the latter’s influence

- In episode 10, he defeated Geed Darkness
- In episode 12, he helped the other new gen Ultras defeat Dark Killer
Ultraman Taiga[]
- Upon discovering that Taiga was planning on attacking the land of light, him and the other new gen Ultras immediately began chasing him in order to try and stop him
- In episode 1, he gave Titas one of his lights as a gifts, resulting in it manifesting as Bracelet-type called Ultra-Taiga Accessories.
Ultraman Taiga The Movie: New Generation Climax[]
As Riku[]
- He returned a balloon that belonged to a little gi
- Stopped an alien from killing Hiroyuki
- Comforted Taiga when he was upset over his father getting possessed by Grimdo, bringing up how he had to fight his own father as well and that he understood what he was going through.
As Geed[]
- Prior to the film, him and the other NGU temporarily sealed Grimdo
- Upon learning that the seal him and the other new gen ultras had casted on Grimdo was about to break and that it was heading towards Taiga’s Earth , he and the others immediately went to go help him
- By fusing together with Hikaru/Ginga, Sho/Victory, X/Daichi, Orb, Katsumi/Russo, Isami/Blu, Asahi/Griego, Titas, Fuma, and Taiga, he was ultimately able to help them create Ultraman Reiga and defeat Grimdo and Tregear for good.

- Despite everything his father did, upon learning that Celebro was intending on using his genes to create Belial, he started begging him to stop it and let his father Rest In Peace.
- Upon noticing that the signal on Pega’s ship was picking up that were caused by Greeza, he instantly went to go meet Haruki in order to warn him.
As Geed[]
- In episode 6, he helped Z defeat Gilvaris for good, preventing him from destroying all life in the multiverse
- In episode 7, he helped Z and Zero defeat Celebro in his Pedanium Zetton form
- In episode 15, he chose to sacrifice himself by fusing with Greeza to trap it between reality and unreality and seal it.
- Additionally, as he was fusing with, he gave Z his Ultra Medal for him to use for future battles.
Ultra Galaxy Fight: The Destined Crossroad[]
As Geed[]
- In episode 2, he helped Titas, Z, and X/Daichi defeat a bunch of Darkclops Zeros and Leigonoids and retrieve a Devil splinter
- During the final battle in episode 10, he briefly tried to reconcile with the alternate isotope of Belial and offer him the chance to join good again.
As Reiga[]
- In episode 4, he defeated Gua Specter

- He is the final Heisei Ultra and final Heisei Hero to be Pure good.
