Hi everyone. This character I made was recently approved on the Heroes Fanon, and as such, I've decided to propose her here. Introducing Shattered.

What's the work?[]

Silence is an ongoing series about the main characters (Shattered, Recon, Vance and Eina) having to find a way to stop, and possibly destroy Silent (the series main antagonist), while also having to stop other characters of equal, if not worse proportions (Ila, Relinquish, Apacar). Shattered is met in story two of series one, and is immediately presented as a kind creature, who recently lost herself (literally) to Silent's wrath. She also meets Recon, Vance, Eina, who of them all, she is the only one who has a true motive to defeat Silent.

Who is the candidate? What has she done?[]

Shattered is the main protagonist of the entire series, being originally a kind, midwestern girl from around Europe, who came to America (Or the universes version of America), to find happiness after something happened. She meet's Silent, who she thinks is just a normal robot looking for shelter from the storm, who turns her, after around five hours of torture, into the Glitch she is. What she's done, in response, is... nothing. She did nothing to stop the robot at first, but after learning of it's plans... she had to at least attempt to stop it. At first, she was in a weakened state, weak from her transformation and becoming of, but soon after, she was able to at least stop silent, for a moment.

As the events of the story progress, she learns of where Silent is, going to a nearby forest, which was originally known (Except by her), to house Nuclear Armaments. She alone, originally, attempted to subdue the robot, not by violent means, but more so restraint. However, soon after, she saw something fly through the robot's... golem's... head, a Nano-bullet, something she hadn't seen until then. With the help of Recon, she was able to at least protect the majority of the forest, except for a small area, which was the only place a nuclear armament fell. She stared in horror, realizing she hadn't been able to protect the wildlife, flora, and other creatures living in the forest. Soon after, she felt the hit of the wave, and rushed over to protect Recon, wrapping her tendrils around the person by instinct, with little to no care for her self being, shielding him from the blast. As the wave of nuclear hit subdued, she let him go, apologizing.

Throughout the rest of Series 1, she made sure to protect those around her, caring nothing of her own safety, getting fatally wounded several times, but due to her enhanced regeneration, she was able to survive, with a bit of pain.

When series 2 roles around, she's, while still a very kind and protective girl, a bit more... tough. She can hold her own a bit, still refusing to use violence in any way, unless absolutely necessary. When her and Recon meet Relinquish, she's none-the-wiser of the new persons' goals. She offers him help in his journeys, and when it is revealed of Relinquish's goals, she isn't angry, violent or even upset, she understands his goals, albeit a bit upset about being lied to. As the series progresses, and Silent appears again, she's able to temporarily stop Silent, albeit while losing one of her tendrils, which take far longer to grow back, and hurt twice as bad.

Throughout series 2, which is far shorter than series 1, she's far more protective, understanding that others usually can't be saved, but trying her hardest twice as much.

In series 3, she takes a more backseat roll, while still being a major contributor to the story, and event's, she's more so off-screen helping people and trying to find Silent. However, near the end, she does appear and helps stop Silent from destroying the town. She's also extremely happy to meet Vance, another person majorly injured by Silent's rampage.

In series 4, she appears as the main protagonist again, mainly trying to stop Ila, the newest big bad in the series, which she meet's after meeting Ila's twin sister, Eina, who they get along which quite well. She and Ila are at arms throughout the entirety of series 4, having known of her way's before the event's of the story, as she was someone she met in high-school, and despised, for her ways of talking to people. However, she didn't know of the latter's (Ila's) homicidal tendencies, thinking of her as just someone who wanted to enjoy life on the high end. She also despises her, for being quite cruel to Eina, who Shattered had fell in love with, during said high school. She's the main reason why Ila's operations fell out of motion, stopping her in her tracks near the end of the series.

In act 2, Shattered appears far less, despite being the main protagonist, due to her adventures in Waste's, a canon subseries, in which she meet's Rena. Throughout waste's, she's seen helping those who need it, and stopping Rena from stealing from them, while also making she she stay's safe. However, near the halfway point, it's revealed of Rena's evil-ways, and Vance tries to tell Shattered, who before he can, is killed by Rena, right in-front of Shattered. Shattered is soon after knocked unconscious, and with the help of Vance, posthumously, and while delirious, she is able to escape from Rena's lair, and put an end to her ways, by trying to imprison her, but failing when Rena, in a heat of blind rage, tries to kill her, killing herself on an exposed wire-set accidentally.

Throughout the active Act 2, she's seen stopping Ila and Relinquish, and rarely Silent's, goal's. With her actively stopping Relinquish's goal of genocide, unknowingly stopping him from enacting true revenge. She also stops Ila's murder-haze psychotic episode's, eventually leading to her meeting up with Vance (Who was revived after Waste's), Recon and Eina. As she and the other's make their way over to stop Silent from detonating the planet, she meets someone unexpected. Apacar. While trying to get past the god, Apacar murders Vance right in front of her, with little to no emotion, while staring her down. Shattered, while in tears, manages to get past Apacar, going to stop Silent, once and for all. While in this fight, Silent manages to shoot and wound Recon, leaving it just up to her, as Eina had stayed behind to make sure Vance was safe from any dangers. She manages to stop the robot once more, this time knocking it unconscious, and goes to tend to recons wounds... or she would, if he was alive.

Throughout the end, she and Eina bury the two, all while Shattered is just apologizing to them both.

In act 3, she has to stop Ila, Apacar and Silent once more, but barely relinquish. She and Eina manage to stop Relinquish originally, and instead of continuing to fight them, he calls a truce, and they manage to work together to stop Ila.

Ila, on the other hand, is far less reasonable, going against every one of the several times, nearly killing Relinquish and Eina, before her untimely death trying to kill Shattered, before accidentally freezing herself in an ice wall, killing herself by hypothermia. Shattered apologizes to the psychopaths corpse, apologizing for not being able to stop her, as anything would be better than death by hypothermia.

Silent, aswell, is still unreasonable, having tried once more to kill the three, and this time almost succeeding in killing them all, as they have grown more powerful, while shattered, instead of going on defensive, goes on offensive, trying to subdue the robot through stalling, while Relinquish and Eina find explosives to use on them, Shattered protecting herself from the explosions while attacking Silent, who wasn't able to regenerate fast enough.

In the end, Silent is locked away, Ila is dead... and Apacar got off Scott free.

In act 4, Shattered takes once more a back-seat approach, helping Relinquish overcome any trauma he had from losing his sister, and the torture, while never outright trying to tell him to let go. She also manages to help Eina in a similar way, though she wasn't as affected by Ila's death.

In summary, Shattered is one of the most honorable characters in the series, having few resources, and using herself as a shield for others, often almost falling to her wounds, though never being able to due to her Glitch Powers. She's also the only character to never try to kill anyone, even silent, as Recon, Vance (albeit unwillingly), Eina and Relinquish all try to attack and kill one of the evil characters. Shattered is shown as a capable pacifist, able to protect herself, and others, and never trying to kill anyone.

Admirable Standard?[]

Shattered stands out completely. Despite Silence's high Admirable standard, she stands out, due to having fewer resources than Vance and Recon, and doing more than Eina, who has similar resources, but doesn't do as much heroic work in her time on-screen. However, here's a comparison.

Recon: The only one she can really compete with, she still stands out, due to her fewer resources, due to originally being a normal person with nothing special, to a creature with a very unique special case.

Vance: His heroism is notable, but he falls a bit behind due to appearing later than Shattered and Recon, and not doing as much on-screen.

Eina: As stated earlier, despite her high screen time, she doesn't do much heroism, mainly being a helpful ally to Shattered, Recon and Vance, but never going above and beyond, compared to them.

Corrupting qualities?[]

Okay, let's start off with one thing. Shattered, during her and Silent's final battle, was attacking them, and although they deserved it, Shattered was quite angry at that point in time, though, Silent is the most heinous and viscous antagonist in the series, having killed one of the main characters, and almost getting off Scott free, if it wasn't for Shattered almost sacrificing herself, but because she did, several times, Silent's plans hardly went through.

Is she as admirable as Recon, Vance or Eina? Yes, almost more so. She's on par with Recon, who had sacrificed himself, and was just a normal person (Everyone else has some-kind of alteration), she's more heroic than Vance, due to him taking more a backseat approach, while still being extremely heroic. She also is the only one of the two remaining heroes to not have some kind of issues with a villain, especially after their defeat, as Eina was more so pleased with her sisters death, while Shattered was extremely upset at every villains defeat.

Conclusion?[]

After a while of making this character, and seeing how far I'd make her, I'm gonna say she's possibly a yes, however it's entirely up to you.
