~ Wonder Woman. |
Wonder Woman or Wondy for short by her friends, also known by her real name Diana of Themiscyra, is a main character in the first generation of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise. She is the daughter of Queen Hippolyta, the princess of Themiscyra, a student at Super Hero High School, the school's current ambassador to new students and the leader of the titular superhero team.
She is voiced by Grey Griffin.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- Like most of her incarnations, she's a superheroine who defends the world from evil.
- She's a life saver, in fact in the episode Clubbing, she reveals that she has saved over 692 lives in her first semester.
- Initially, she used to find her roommate Harley Quinn annoying due her chaotic attitude, regardless W.W. never lost her cool towards her keeping her polite attitude, but seeing how gloomy Harley appears after she rejects her one last time, she befriends her. Effectively through the series Wondy never treated Harley as a nuisance, even if they don't always get along.
- Unlike most of her incarnations that tend to be somewhat aggressive and ready to battle, this incarnation of Wonder Woman has a gentler personality who prefers reaching others through heart, which is closer to her traditional personality.
- She's nice, altruistic and considerate of others, including the ones that doesn't like her, like Cheetah.
- In ''Fall Into Super Hero High'', she watches Harley Quinn's video which features embarrassing clips of the students. While everyone else gets angry over Harley accidentally uploading it online, she begins to laugh at how ridiculous she looked. Eventually, everyone except Cheetah begins laughing.
- In Saving the Day, Wonder Woman directs her friends as they rescue Mr. Fox and later Cheetah.
- Due because her heroism, she receives the Hero of the Year award having broken the school's all-time saving record.
- In New Beginnings, Wonder Woman tries to convince Supergirl to choose Super Hero High via video call while fighting Giganta.
- In the special Super Hero High, though she was a bit envious at Supergirl supposedly being better than her, she doesn't take it out on her.
- In Franken-Ivy, Wonder Woman teams with Harley Quinn, Lady Shiva, Batgirl, Katana and Star Sapphire in order to stop Ivy's plant from wrecking Metropolis, but let Ivy fix the situation.
- In Cold Blooded, she appears with other students trying to stop Firefly. When Frost accidentally sneezes and freezes both a helicopter and Firefly and his hostage, she saves the helicopter and tries to punch through the ice.
- In Tales From the Kryptomites, she protects Supergirl from the Kryptomites, Lena Luthor's nasty creations, later she and the other students save Metropolis from them.
- In The Ares Up There, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl and Harley Quinn battles and stop Wonder Woman's half-brother Ares, the God of War, who went on a rampage at Themyscira. They managed to stop him using the amulet of armonia that turn Ares in a calm, smooth guy. This make Wondy and her friends responsible for redeeming Ares.
- In Body Electric, she and Supergirl arrest Giganta after she causes a blackout in Metropolis.
- In Fresh Ares, she is visited by her step brother Ares, the God of War, at Capes and Cowls, who gives her a golden fleece as a peace offering. After Catwoman steals his medallion Ares goes on a rampage, WW and her friends battle him but WW tries to reason with him. After Catwoman comes back the medallion he asks her if she really would help him even after for the damage he had done and Wonder Woman says that is what family is for;
- In Jetsetters, she helps Frost train for Flyer's Ed by coaching her as she flies her invisible jet;
- In It's a Superful Life, she participates in a school toy drive, brings Vice-Principal Grodd's parents to the school with Supergirl so he can celebrate the holidays with them, and helps decorate the tree in the school foyer;
- In Ring Me Maybe Part 4, after being saved, alongside other students, by Jessica Cruz (the new Green Lantern) and Batgirl from Sinestro she and her friends encourages Jessica to accept becoming a new Super Hero High student;
- In Legends of Atlantis, she and her friends save both their world than the underwater world of Atlantis, defeating the evil witch Siren and redeeming her sister Mera. Initially she was hostile towards Mera because when she was a kid she was almost drowned by the Trench summoned by Siren, developing in Diana a fear for sea monsters. Anyway in the end she overcomes this fear and realize that Mera is not like her sister, accepting her like a friend;
- In the first part of Fish Out of Water, she accompanies Mera for her first day evaluations and later walks her back to her room, helping her adjust to Super Hero High. In Part 2, she organizes and attends a surprise pool party for Mera to reward her for saving Miss Martian;
- In Truth of Lasso she recalls first obtaining it as a child when using it to defeat Cerebus, after it was found in an archaeology dig by Bobbi Ann Minerva (Cheetah as a child) and her mother on Themiyscira. Queen Hippolyta then gave it to her for her pure heart. When she discover that Cheetah stolen her lasso she tries to make her give back it but Cheetah trap her in. Cheetah tries to use the Lasso of Truth against Wonder Woman in an effort to expose her embarrassing, selfish side to the world at large. This fails because Wonder Woman has no such selfishness to speak of, in fact the only truth that she got out of Wonder Woman was her regret of not being friends. After Cheetah is captured, Wonder Woman convinces Principal Waller to not expel Cheetah. That was the Best Thing Wonder Woman ever did because, though Cheetah was meanie, if she was expelled likely she would become a real supervillain, keeping her in the Super Hero High School, Cheetah did had more genuinely good moments, and is nowhere near as mean as she was early on;
- In Nevermore Part 3, she and her friends battle the demon overlord Trigon when he attacks Super Hero High;

- In My So-Called Anti-Life, she and her friends defeat Darkseid saving their world from his Anti-Life Equation, vowing that the school will be ready and waiting if he returns;
- Despite being one of the most powerful heroes in the world, W.W. is more than a bit self-conscious. For example in the movie Hero of the Year she doesn't enjoy when her mother parades her trophies in front of her friends, loath to be seen as an overachiever, and feels a bit out of place in the Man's World.
- In Hero of the Year, she welcomes a redeemed Big Barda at Super Hero High and with her friends defeat Dark Opal and Eclipso, saving the world and the school.
- Despite the highest admirable standards, she ultimately stands out due to having self-control and maturity, unlike her G2 counterpart who possess few corrupting factors.
