Yun Jou is a major protagonist in the game Live a Live, serving as one of the potential main protagonists of the primordial China chapter.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
- While he is initially introduced as a thief, he actually hates having to steal from others (with it even being implied that he is being forced into stealing by Sun Tzu Wang), only doing so to support his grandmother.
- He stands up to Sun Tzu Wang once he get fed up with stealing, earning him the respect of the Shifu.
- While the Shifu offers Lei and Hong the opportunity to train under him to abandon their ways of theft, Yun asks the Shifu himself to train him to be stronger so that he can protect the people he cares about.
- When Sun Tzu Wang attacks the town of Yunfa, Yun asks to help out.
- If Yun is not the successor, he will sacrifice his life to protect the student that is.
- If Yun is the survivor, he blames himself for the deaths of Lei and Hong, while the Shifu assures him that he did nothing wrong.
- He aids the Shifu in the fight against the Indomitable Fist even beating Ou Di Wan Li.
- When he meets the chosen hero, he joins the party immediately, being the only character to do so without any special condition.
- He aids in stopping Odio from destroying the world.
- He sympathizes with Oersted's struggle, informing him that he knows what it is like to be in a situation of not knowing what to do.
- He trains a new generation of students to honor his master.
- In spite of their past, Yun makes amends with Sun Tzu Wang and even has him train at the dojo.
