Yuuki Konno is a major protagonist in the Sword Art Online franchise.
She is the deuteragonist of the Mother’s Rosario Sub-Arc and the main protagonist of the Sisters' Prayer side story in the Sword Art Online series. She was the younger sister of Aiko Konno and one of the three founders and the second leader of the «Sleeping Knights» guild, a group of terminally ill patients who met in Serene Garden, a virtual hospice for the terminally ill, and played various virtual reality games as a form of palliative care.
Yuuki is voiced by Aoi Yuuki in Japanese, and Erica Mendez in English.
What makes her Pure Good?[]
- She is one of the kindest characters in the Sword Art Online series, always willing to help her friends and allies, especially Asuna.
- Developed a close friendship with Asuna.
- She taught Asuna how to live her life and fight for her happiness.
- Due to her condition getting worse that leads to her dying, she sacrifices herself to in order to let Kirito, Asuna and the others live on.
- She only uses lethal force only in self-defense and when it's necessary to do so.
- Unlike most characters who have or used to have corrupting qualities, Yuuki has no corrupting factors.
- While not as admirable as Kirito, Yuuki still manages to stand out due to having less resources.
