Zak is one of the main protagonist of the Spanish series Sendokai Champions, He is the leader of the Senkuns, who participated in the Great Sendokai Tournament with the objective of freeing the multiverse from the Zorn empire, in the second season, the goal changed and they now had to free the Masarians from the Yakis, stop Sidmodius from winning the First Great Sendokai tournament and become the Great Zorn.
He is Voiced by Álex de Porrata.
What Makes Him Pure Good?[]
General[]
- Zak is someone who is Incredible kind with people in general, loyal to his friends and always does the right thing no matter what, even rejecting the idea of fame because he knows that it won't actually be good for him in general.
- He always loved Cloe and was an important factor in her being able to grow and be what she wanted to be, without forcing her to go against her desires, culminating in the two of them becoming a couple.
- When he participates in Sendokai matches, he always tries to play as fairly and honorably as possible, even though there are no rules for Sendokai (He even openly shows a dislike when people cheat or do something dishonorable)
- He has a positive influence on everyone around him, since thanks to him, the Kiwuns and the Kredlers put aside their dislike for each other, he also helped the Kiwun team find a common feeling and defeat Lon, his influence reaches the point where he is considered the best Hakuru in the entire multiverse and can unite all the people in Masara.
- Although he had certain corruptible traits, such as being prideful over his status has a leader, envious over Lon for being better than him and letting his emotions dominate him, he always feels remorseful over them and is able to forget about them to do the right thing, ending up subverting them in the end.
- He is the most admirable of his entire series, since he saved a entire dimension almost completely alone, united all the people in Masara and was even willing to sacrifice himself for his friends because it was best for them and not for him.
Season 1[]
- When Rud almost runs over Cloe, he tried to protect her so she won't get hurt.
- After Tänpo rejected them because they were too bad in Sendokai, Zak tried to show him that they are not bad, and although he destroyed a large statue, it was a accident and he only wanted to hit the Senrock. Furthermore, that same action was what made Tänpo accepts them as Sendokai warriors.
- Along with his friends, he helped the Urloks defend themselves against the Slurks.
- By knowing how to control sen, he saved a woman and her child from a giant Slurk.
- He managed to defeat the Senodont and prevent the Zorn from conquering the Kaiju dimension.
- He told Toho not to feel bad about not being able to go and meet his family, as they would understand because they cared for him.
- He kindly returned Krom's crystal eye after he lost it.
- Even though they were on bad terms at the beginning, he ended up respecting the legendary warriors and not having any problems with them later on, even having a meal with them.
- After beating Tänpo, he worried about his well-being because he had fainted after the match, showing that he cares about him.
- Protected Cloe from being paralyzed by a teckdroid attack.
- After releasing the Sho sen fire, he used it to defeat the Teckdroids, win the match and thus prevent the elimination of their team, but while doing this he asked Cloe to trust him, helping her with her trust issues.
- Thanks to his words he made Cloe realize her true motivation, and at the same time prevented her from accidentally harming herself (the powers of the Wadaan armor can harm a user if they do not discover their true motivation, to the point they can have no Sen, effectively, dying)
- Although the Urloks were rough with them in their confrontation, Zak did not hold any grudge against them, understanding that they did it to save their dimension.
- Even when he mocked his dark version by saying they were not "alike", it was only a throw away line to lighten the mood, also Kazkrad is a evil version of himself that enjoys suffering and it has been shown incapable of love, so Zak line is mostly true on the way he says it.
- He alongside his team, motivated the rest of the beings in the multiverse to rebel against the Zorn due to the enslavement of their dimensions (although they were unfortunately unsuccessful)
- Helped Cloe remove the eyelash that she had in her eye.
- He was worried about Cloe when she was attacked by a specter of Lalith and rushed to see if she was okay.
- Motivated his team to go to the last game of the big tournament in order to save their dimension, even with the possibility of them not being friends again after this do to their own families wanting them to leave the town.
- He refused the idea of running away and decided to fight with his team against the Zorn in order to not only save his dimension, but also the multiverse.
- After discovering what truly motivated him and using the Sho Sen fire, he managed to weaken Kento and allow the fight to go in his team's favor.
- Even without powers, he continued to fight and free the multiverse from The Zorn empire.
- He helped Tänpo get on the ship to escape from the Zorn fortress (and also saved Kento, even when he was responsable for all the suffering across the multiverse).
- After going to the Agardis dimension and noticing how his people were being robbed of their sen and suffered from poverty, he decided to free them by destroying one of the antennas that made them watch a program called "Sendokai Fury" so the Organization of the Daga could steal their sen.
- Zak also rejected the attempt to make him a celebritie across the multiverse, since he knows that Kaiboy has no self-worth, unlike him, who already values himself more than enough.
- He wanted to help immediately when the Bullfrog told him they needed help in his dimension (this was without knowing about Kazkrad's trap)
- When Kazkrad tried to manipulate him by saying that his friends betrayed him to have a better treatment because they decided to agree with his plan on taking revenge against Tänpo, Lalith and Kento, Zak refused to comply with his demands.
- Frees the prisoners of the vortex and motivates them to rebel against the tyranny of the dark ones (many of them are people who were sent there unfairly, some for minor crimes, such as scaring someone or running a red light, or even some who were sent there because the Zorn empire sent them there)
- With his team, they proved their innocence by defeating the Dark ones in a fair Sendokai match and also made them get condemned to the Sector Omega in the vortex for being tyrannical against the prisoners.
Season 2[]
- After meeting Lon, he was kind to him even despite his distant and cold attitude, only challenging him because he was acting like a jerk.
- After learning that Sidmodius was in Masara and turning people into Yakis, he and his team wanted to put a stop to him.
- Freed Danima from her Yaki state.
- He became worried about Kiet and decided to escape from the fight due to the power of the Yakis.
- After Lon called him a coward for escaping, Zak told him that he would not risk his friends lives or the life of Lon.
- Altought it started hard, his friendship with Lon begins to grow and they both trust each other.
- He with his group liberated the Kiwuns from the Yaki state.
- After Kido's father insulted him for "being clumsy," Zak defended him and said that he had actually helped them. This helped Kido in standing up for himself and stop being a servant of his own father.
- Even though he had training, he did the best he could to take care of his little sister Ona.
- At the same time he also a Droover from Ona who somehow managed to catch him, because of this, he earned the respect of the droovers.
- He tried to ask cloe out for a Date but he couldn't because he had to help his father.
- He saved the Guglins village from the Gorgosauruses, by defeating and sealing the evil god of the seas, Jagh-Un-Ramagg, even when their Kharn (the leader) wanted him to go and said that they didn't need any his help.
- Saved the Senkuns from a Yaki attack after returning from his mission in the Guglin village.
- He worried too much about Danima when she was dying, because of this, he made the decision to go with the masters of fire to look for the Nero rock and (according to Danima) save her.
- He put his pride aside so he could do the Duo sen force with Lon and tried to win against the masters of fire, even after loosing, they still received the Nero rock.
- Prevented a fight from occurring between the races in Masara.
- Do to all the mistakes he made has a leader (mainly to letting his emotions numb his better judgement), he took the decision to quite being the hakuru of the Senkuns and told them through a letter that they deserved a better leader.
- He helped Kido into freeying his brothers from the Yaki state.
- After Kento told him about how people will forgive him if he truly felt sorry, Zak returned to participate in the first major Sendokai tournament together with Team Kiwun.
- He helped the Kiwuns win against the Norkings by using one of their strengths (being very agile).
- When a Guglin kid was in danger from a large insect, even when there was a Sendokai match, Zak immediately wanted to save him.
- He tries to help his friends get out of Lessay's illusion.
- He congratulated Lon and considered him a good Hakuru, showing that he had already moved on from his jealousy against him.
- He made the Kiwuns and Kredlers no longer hold any grudges against one another (Even admitting that they didn't even remember what was the reason for starting all of that)
- Even though he had a rivalry with his friends for being on the other team, he still treated them nicely without having any bad feelings towards them.
- After winning his fight against Lon, Zak told everyone to take care fo the Kiwuns first before him, since they took the greatest amount of damage.
- Zak worried about Lon and wanted to try to help him with his problems because "he is our friend", even after he betrayed them.
- He defended his city along with his friends from the attack of the Yakis even when time was running out and they could probably loose their match against Sidmodius.
- When Sidmodius asked him why the Senkuns were fighting against him, since mostly the Masarians didn't care for them, Zak told him that they were doing it for Masara, earth and for Danima.
- Even when everything was lost, he motivated his friends until the end, allowing them to have a common feeling and use the Nero Sen Fusion.
- The defeat of Sidmodius and destruction of Sestrad Chest caused all the inhabitants of Masara transformed by him to return to normal.
- Even though he won, he decided to give Kido the honor of being the new leader of Masara, and when Kido told him that he didn't know, Zak responded by saying that Danima told him "Nobody knows until they learn".
- Motivated the people of Masara to unite to defeat Sid yaki, this action allowed Zak to use the full power of the Map and finally put a end to Sidmodius forever.
- Although he shows no guilt over killing him, Sidmodius was an absolutely horrible individual who wanted to enslave the entire multiverse and all the characters hated him and everyone agreed he had to go.
- In the last moments he had to leave Masara, he tried to save Lon (sadly Lon rejected him and embraced the power of the helmet).
- In the greatest act of good on his part, he was willing to have his team go to the portal while maintaining the Nero sen fusion, even though he could get trapped in Masara and not return.
- After everything that has happened, he was finally able to share his feelings with Cloe and that allowed them to do the Duo sen Lightning bolt.
Trivia[]
- He and Tänpo are the only characters from Sendokai Champions to be Pure Good.
- According to the Dark genesis, the Great Zorn is someone who is able to unite people and lead them as a great leader, and interestingly, Zak falls under this same definition, but unlike the Great Zorn who conquered and enslaved the multiverse, Zak in fact protected and free the multiverse, working has a the counterpart of the Great Zorn.
- The Story of Zak is still ongoing due to the confirmation of Sendokai season 3 and 4, meaning there is still a possibility for him to gain corrupting qualities, or still maintain his PG status.
