Zelda is the titular tritagonist of the 2011 action-adventure game The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
The earliest known incarnation of the princess of Hyrule and the true ancestor of Hyrule's royal family, as well as being the childhood friend of Link, she is later revealed to be the reincarnation of the goddess Hylia, making her a target of the Demon Lord Ghirahim, who desires to use her to soul to revive his master Demise. As such, she sets out on her own journey with Impa to awaken her memories and prevent Demise's return.
She is voiced by Yū Shimamura, who also voices her in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom in the Japanese versions.
What Makes Her Pure Good?[]
- She is shown to be a kind-hearted girl from the start, always defending Link from Groose and his friends.
- When Ghirahim attacks her, Impa, and Link, she gives Link the Goddess's Harp before escaping through the Gate of Time with Impa.
- Having recovered her memories of her past life, she apologised to Link for what she put him through back when she was Hylia, despite it being not her fault.
- She seals herself in a crystal to make sure Demise's seal holds while Link finds a way to destroy Demise using the Triforce.
